In North Carolina, AI chatbot<\/a> recruiters are becoming popular day by day as companies are using them to take job interviews. Job interviews will be taken from beginners, intermediate and experienced candidates. However, now AI chatbot recruiter will be used to take interviews but this may create potential biases in the hiring process. These Chatbot recruiters are created by Paradox company.<\/strong> Another company, L\u2019Oreal, is also using an AI chatbot recruiter known as “Mya<\/a>” <\/strong>which was made in  San Francisco.<\/p>\n\n\n

These chatbots are used by different big brands such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Hardees, <\/strong>which are used to hire people. While this may appear futuristic, there can be potential pitfalls. In early June a job seeker at Asheville, encountered a series of mishaps while trying to get a position at a fast-food restaurant which conducted its hiring via these AI tools. Unfortunately, her job search experience was not good as one chatbot recruiter named “Olivia<\/strong>” from McDonald<\/strong>‘ said, she can take her interview but after some time due to technical problems this interview was not held. <\/p>\n\n\n

Then Wendy’s chatbot recruiter<\/strong> arranged an interview for her, but the job opportunity does not match with her skills. On top of that, Hardees’ chatbot recruiter <\/strong>sent her to talk to a store manager who was absent on that day. This way things, become so annoying for her that she said” Chatbot recruiters are more complicated than they seem<\/em>” Just because of this issue she start looking jobs, in different places<\/p>\n\n\n

However, after this reaction, McDonald’s and Hardees didn’t address her tweet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This makes people worried, that computer programs might not judge people’s skills and capabilities properly. They are not good as recruiters,to fix this problem researchers are dealing with these concerns by making advanced technology so that it can easily hire candidates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now many big brands are using a chatbot as a recruiter and making policies that allow everyone to have a fair chance while applying for a job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HR chatbots are becoming common in different industries such as healthcare, retail, and restaurants. After complete evaluation rather than focusing on one feedback researchers and the public realize that these chatbots will help industries to find suitable candidates. <\/p>\n\n\n

But still, chatbot recruiters encounter issues while dealing with disabled people. It is hard for chatbots to deal with people who are not fluent in English, or older. It is observed Olivia and Mya may not create opportunities for them. As a result, these chatbots are also facing some constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
